hi, if anyone in the us has bought binoculars from kyoei osaka, i'd be very interested in hearing how smooth or complicated us customs clearance is. many thanks, appreciate the help, jeff

i have had several transactions with kyoei osaka. each has been handeled by Tsutomu SAKABE who is the general manager there. my impression is that he handles sales with english speakers. each purchase has been super smooth. in one instance he caught a mistake i made in the order - he is very careful about communication. i was expecting customs to be a little complicated but it was smooth sailing. there is a minimum purchase to avoid a transaction fee but i imagine any binocular purchase would exceed that. i've been very pleased.
