camoflage fix for silver tripod (1 Viewer)

i've tried several times to dull down/camoflage my old silver opticron tripod without any real success, paint wares off and tape wont work on the lower legs.
anyway i had a brain wave while looking at a fishing pole cover and thought i could make fabric covers that slip over the legs and tie at the top and bottom. this would still allow extending and collapsing of the legs with a concertina like effect if you get me.
would also muffle any noise ie rings taping on the legs ect. off course any colour material could be used depending on your location, you could even have different covers for every season.

havent tried it yet but i think its worth a go....

regards mark
