Canon 1DX MKll (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Should the red focus points show as you activate the shutter button?
To fix the problem Ian, you will have to go into the menu.

Switch the camera on - Menu - scroll to the second Purple Menu titled AF. Scroll through that purple section to menu 5

Second option down on the display should read ( AF point display during focus ) Select - sub menu then gives you another five choices.
Choose top option ( Selected AF point ) Your camera is probably set on the fifth option ( Disable Display )

Let me know if that helps
