Chatham-Kent County Ontario Sandpiper ID (1 Viewer)

While at the Blenheim sewage lagoons checking out the American Avocets, Red Knot, and Red-Necked Phalarope (Very solid day), I saw a small group of sandpipers that kind of stood out a little. I took a couple pictures without thinking too much of them, and when I got looking at them again, it looked to me that their bills looked a little long for Semipalmated Sandpipers. Using Merlin Bird ID gave me Western Sandpiper as the best option. With the length of the bill, and slight drooping (I think that's what I see) I am almost convinced that's what they are. I've never seen a Western Sandpiper before, so I thought I'd come here to get some more opinions. Thanks in advance.

Bill size should be within variation of Semi-P IMO and show the typical stoutness of that species. Scapular pattern, dull coloration, ear covert and crown patterns also better for that species too IMO. But don't take my word on it.
