Or just a female chaffinch?!

Really outdone myself with today’s shot taken with a potato in Kotor, Montenegro. Going to have to go by jizz alone I think. This was in open oak scrub at about 700m today.
Cheers and good luck!

Hello,

do you have more pictures?

Anyway, I agree with you and Derbyfella: it looks good for a Cirl Bunting and that would be my guess in quiz-modus.
Colouration (subdued yellowish hues with a pale greyish/buffish tinge), blackish streaking to the flanks (where it is often most prominent in winter females, much finer/subdued on the breast), parallel boarders to the ear-coverts with a narrow pale area in between, a narrow straight supercilium and greyish wings with a brownish tinge (lacking obvious white areas of chaffinch). Yes wishful thinking at its best, but altogether resulting in a good Cirl Bunting gut feeling.
But as said, more pictures are better to confirm these points (or correct them). (And no offence you know)
