Can anyone satisfy my curiosity please
I got this pic in northumberland yesterday and it seems pretty big !
the heron dropped it after playing with it for a bit so it obviosly didnt like it

I would agree. Common Frog would have longer back legs, relatively speaking, surely, looks bumpy (insomuch as you can tell in the image), but the clincher must surely be that it would have eaten the frog (toads having toxins in the skin of course, released on contact).
