There is also a full scan of this volume (with entire cover, half-title page and title page, all saying "1993") at http://ashipunov.info/shipunov/school/books/ekol_fauna_ptits_palearktiki_1993_zin_252.djvu
Mayr 2009 and Acosta Hospitaleche & Gelfo 2016 clearly took the name from the present work (i.e., the issue is not with the source itself), which they dated to 1987; in the refs cited in this work, one is from 1988, one from 1990 and two from 1991 : there is no way that it could have been published in 1987.

Annales des Sciences Géologiques 6: 1-12
I have the paper, but can't upload it
In my notes, I have this paper cited from "Bibliothèque de l'École des Hautes Études, Section des Sciences Naturelles, 11 (3): 1-12." -- https://books.google.com/books?id=Wwg0AQAAMAAJ&pg=RA3-PA1 . This follows both [Richmond] and [Neave].

The same paper also appears, indeed, in "Annales des Sciences Géologiques, 6 (1): 1-12." -- https://books.google.com/books?id=JbsQAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA1
The date on the title page of this issue of Bibl. École Hautes Études is 1874; the date on the title page of vol. 6 of Ann. Sci. Géol. is 1875. (But I have, admittedly, not seen a title page or wrapper for the first issue.)

(Originally as Puffinus arvernensis. This bird's name had been cited earlier, but without a description or illustration, in: Milne-Edwards A. 1869-1871. Recherches anatomiques et paléontologiques pour servir à l'histoire des oiseaux fossiles de la France. Tome second. Victor Masson et Fils, Paris.; p. 572; https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page/43655690 . Shufeldt published it with illustrations that had been sent to him by Milne-Edwards.)
