Dunlin or Curlew Sand (UK) (2 Viewers)

It always helps to wait until a bird lifts its head up!
Until it does that... Has a curlew sand look: scallopy upperparts, decent supercilium, nothing obviously juv-dunlinny about the underparts. Legs look a bit short though.

Primary projection beyond the tertials is also quite a lot longer than it typically appears in Dunlin. Is this feature consistent enough for ID? Curlew Sandpipers certainly tend to show a long attennuated rear.
