Finally Joined the 40D Err99 Club (1 Viewer)

Well, Surprise, surprise. 40D is back in a week with a new shutter mechanism. Pleased with the speed of turnround. Have to admit, I was starting to examine the specs of the 50D. So we will see how long it lasts. Will be taking the 10D as backup body on any trips as confidence has taken a bit of a knock. Extended warranties are useful after all

Reading all this about the 40D error, puts doubt in my mind to go for a s/h model, has there been any issues with the 50D ?
