At the end of a very windy week, my only moth encounter was in the hotel lift.😮

Certainly looks like licarsisalis to me, a very common species here in Aus, hadn't realised they had been recorded in the UK - realise that the OP was not from UK just reacting to aeshna5 comment

The OP is from UK but out there for a vacation. There have been two records at least recently & believe one prior record in England.
