Hi,
i'm new to the website greetings to all.
I've got a question:

My camera is a Fujiflm finepix Sl1000 with a 50x optical zoom.
I was wondering if i can match this camera with a spotting scope to have a even more powerful zoom.
I think that the main problem is the zoom going back and forth?

Sorry for my bad english,

looking forward to your advices

regards

Hi and welcome!
Its not a good idea to couple a superzoom with a scope. You will always get vignetting and the image quality will be poor. I tried out just for fun with my sx50..... Look at the other posts. Cameras with 3-5x zoom are the best (but not all of them) If you are a digiscoping-beginner try to get a used Nikon P300 or a Canon s90/95. I agree, that would be a nice range: 1200mm(eq. 35mm) x 30x Scope = 36000mmm !!!!!!! But it will not work
