Game Bird in Rhodes July 19 (1 Viewer)

I did post one bird a few days ago but have some more pictures now. Can we say this is a Chukar ? I have based it on the smallish white area on the neck and the lack of a white stripe over the eye.

Yes, Chukar, which is the Alectoris native in Rhodes.

Worth adding that Chukar has been widely bred for game shoot releases (apparently they're easier/cheaper to breed in captivity), but Rock isn't much (if at all) - so you may find Chukar released in the range of Rock, but not vice-versa.
