Great White Egret? (1 Viewer)

Heron sized solitary Great White Egret? Seen wading / fishing yesterday & again today in a stream West of R. Severn, near to Ham Court to the South of Upton-upon-Severn. Tomorrow I'll take my camera.

Could be, I find size is always a bit deceptive with egrets if there is no close comparison.
Little egret has black bill and yellowy green feet. Great egret yellow bill and black feet. Smaller possibility cattle egret, yellow bill and legs! Good luck for tomorrow.

Thanks, this one was at about the same distance as a swan and appeared similar in size (but obviously sleeker). I guess about 3 feet tall. Will update tomorrow if possible.

The best I could do today: I got quite close 60m but it startled and flew. Will try again later.
