Gull Central Spain ¿LBBG 3cy? (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone!
A friend of mine saw this gull yesterday near a wetland at Cuenca, Central Spain. I think it is a 3cy Lesser Black-backed (based on pattern of greater coverts with inner ones very dark, mantle, any window in primaries) but I cannot discard Yellow-legged (not very long-winged, bill rather strong). Are there pointers to do so? Can LBBG have new generation median coverts at this time of year? This arte the only photographs, none with wings opened. Both species are present at the area, LBBG being the dominant in winter while YLG breeds in small numbers.

Thanks!
