Gull - Ibiza - Spain - August 2023 (1 Viewer)

I’m on holiday from UK and this gull is around the beach/pool area. Slightly smaller than a herring gull and in flight looks like it has a slightly forked tail at times.

It doesn’t look like any gull I see in the UK regularly. I was thinking Audouins or Slender-billed but doesn’t look right for either.

Any help.

Hi. I have to admit, the culmin, looks a little strange, but it looks OK for an Audouins, to me.

Nothing wrong with the culmen, but the tip of the upper mandible is aberrant.
