yes a few years ago i saw the flicker maybe 2x a year..and now we have 4 in our yard daily..3 males, one female. not been able to see where they nest but they know where the suet cakes are!
 
Nice shot of the Flicker...I like how you picked up the yellow in the underside / tail and the clarity is great. I would be proud of that shot...well done
