Hi All - I'm Freddy and have been a birder since 1989. Living up here in Northern NJ so plenty to see around the area, and within 1.25 hour drive times in different directions, can hit some awesome birding locations. I had a bittersweet reason to be in South Florida back in Jan/Feb 2022 and was able to spend some beautiful days at superb birding hotspots and that sure charged me up to take this to a new level. These days, I carry my Nikon Monarch M5 8x42 binoculars when I'm out (might upgrade to their M7 8x42 for more FOV). Bottom line is I just love being out there! I'm hoping this forum is just another awesome thing in birding! All the best - Freddy
