Hello from New Jersey (1 Viewer)

Hello to everyone from a bird nerd in New Jersey.

Currently working with a digiscope setup and a digital camera.. I cant seem to figure out which setup I like more. Guess it all boils down to how far I'm hiking about.. But the last few times I've gone out, I managed to carry both setups. The worst of the trips included a 4 mile hike up a steep trail to get to a hawk watch.. Only to spend 1 1/2 hours of nice sunshine then watched the thunder/lightning roll in and get everything soaking wet while I ran back down the mountain trail..
