Hi all.

I've read quite a few posts from people who live around my part of the world in old threads through googled searches, so I guess I'm not alone on here!
I live near Newcastle-u-Lyme, Chesterton to be exact.

I'm a real novice at birding. I've become interested though through photography, which is a passion of mine. Over the last couple of years though I've taken more and more wildlife shots including birds. I guess I've slowly but surely become much more interested in birds, not just from the photography angle but by just studying and observing.

I went over to South Stacks RSPB reserve on Angelsey in early summer and it just blew me away! The sight and sheer volume of nesting birds is something I will always remember. Since then I've visited a number of sites, mainly fairly local to me and I've met some great people who have been really helpful. Still struggling identifying gulls though!

Anyway that's me.

Rob

Hello Rob,
And another welcome to the Birdforum. And don't worry about the gulls - if you're like most of us, it will take years to figure them out!
