I’m a science teacher who got my school to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count and have a class doing Project FeederWatch. Participating in these projects and seeing that first White Breasted Nuthatch “climb the wrong way” as my son put it was enough to get me hooked on birds.

Hi cbrown and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.

Hello cbrown,

Yes, nuthatches are a delight to watch, but they are scarce this year in New York City.

NW Ohio? Are you near Toledo?

Stay safe,
Arthur Pinewood
