Hey everyone! My name is David. I'm an avid birder and lister from San Antonio, TX. I'm 21, and I've been birding for about 2-3 years now. First caught the birding bug a couple years back after picking up one of David Allen Sibley's birding guides on a long road trip around the US. I was hooked immediately and began birding from there. Since then, I've racked up 468 species from the United States, Mexico, and Costa Rica. Hoping to break 500 by the end of this year! I'm also participating in eBird's Checklist a Day challenge this year, and so far I've been able to keep up! I'm super excited to have found this community, and I hope to get to know at least a few folks on here!

My current birding kit:

Celestron Nature DX 8x42 binoculars
Celestron Nature DX 12x56 binoculars
Vortex Diamondback 20x60 scope
