Hi drascombe and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. I've been to Martin Mere but the other one I go to on that coast is Leighton Moss. It makes a handy distance for a half-way stop on my long drive down to South Wales.

Welcome. I am based on Wirral and often go to Burton Mere; I was there yesterday enjoying the Long-tailed Duck. A trip to Denhall Quay afterwards added great views of Short-eared Owl.
