Hi Skyblue and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. You do have some lovely birds visiting you, they must be a pleasure to watch. Just a wee note - House Sparrow and Hedge Sparrow are quite different species; Hedge Sparrow is an old name for a Dunnock, in fact it is not a 'sparrow' at all! Sparrows are seed eaters, Dunnocks eat insects and have a much finer bill. You can read more about them here in our Opus article: Dunnock - BirdForum Opus
