Poor Judge of Pasta.
.... and I have no idea what species! I imagine I'll get the field guide in due course, but in the meantime, any pointers? And any tried & tested online resources?

Thanks on advance.

Top ones are honey bees, which seem to all be considered the same species. Bottom ones are mining bees. Of which there are many many types and are above my ability level.

I tend to put photos on a few Facebook groups but responses can vary. They do seem easier than hoverflies where a lot of the time photos aren’t enough to ID but it’s still a very long learning process. I’ve been taking quite a lot of photos the last few weeks and am at the ‘I’ve seen that one before’ stage in the field but nowhere near getting to grips with IDs

ObsIdentify isn’t bad if the photo is good enough. It has your second one as chocolate mining bee but I can’t swear to accuracy
