Hoping to see Dottrel (1 Viewer)

This would be a first for us. Someone said that we may see them in Boland.
Any sign of any yet?
Many thanks.

Pendle Hill close to Chester?! |8.|

Must be well known spots in North Wales that'll be every bit as good, not to mention a damned 'site' nearer. :-O

Several spots in Snowdonia should hold Dotterel in early May. Always a good chance of them appearing on the Great Orme, which is a lot easier to get to.

I think it's fair to say Pendle Hill is the most reliable site in the north west, if you visit the Bowland area regularly the East Lancashire Ornithologists Club sightings page will have updates on this site when birds are there.

Some Dotterel showed in Bowland somewhere which was just a small walk up if that. Best thing to do is Try to seah for specific species on the East Lancs Ornithologists Page and see when and where they have occured. They ca be easy to miss and no gaurantee.

Thanks for asking. Have not managed to get to Pendle. Had caught a bug which affect inner ear and made me throw up.
Did get to the Great Orm since we could drive most of the way up but did not see them.
If weather holds might manage Monday but seem to have lots of family commitments at the moment.
