hello -- new member- first post
Live in hillsboro oregon (suburb of portland) having little luck in attracting hummingbirds -- have a hanging feeder - nectar is 3 parts water and 1 part sugar -- have hanging plants near the feeder that hummingbirds are supposed to like ---- little or no luck in actually attracting them -- any suggestions

Hi Lougee and a warm welcome to you from Myrtle Beach ;)

Just give them some time. They'll find you. I use 1 part sugar to 4 parts water.

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. As KC said, sometimes you just need to give them some time.

Hi Lougee and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
