[Information Needed] What's the history of this model? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

My friend showed me a pair of Zeiss binocular but none of us know anything about it. Would be great if someone can tell us about the year of production and model. The ranging reticle it has also looks quite rare. We haven't seen one like this on other Zeiss binoculars.

Thanks

It was build in1939 when the Zeis Jena serial number list is also valid for military versions. Typical for military versins is the individual focus for each ocular for better protection against dust or water coming inside and the reticle to predict the range to or size of the target. I guess D.F. means Dienst Fernglas (duty binocular) but i'm not sure about this.

D F stands for Dopple Fernrohre
