Key for Canon 500 f4 IS lens case? (7 Viewers)

Update to the above:

I've now had two pairs of replacement case keys cut by a local locksmith. The blank is an HD1 from the Harley Davidson set, and the blanks are quite a bit longer than the finished key. This extra length confused the locksmiths until they compared an HD1 blank next to my Canon 840 key, whilst last winter the "knowledgeable" guy in the market said it couldn't be done...

I made the above offer ~3 years ago, and a few weeks ago, my offer was taken up from across the World. After some problems finding the correct type of blank, I've now had two keys made by a local locksmith, so if anyone else is interested, PM me.
