Loch Garten 2009 (1 Viewer)

Hi Everybody.

On Wednesday the camera router was again fried by a by a big storm. Was watching the camera one minute then the next nothing. They are waiting for the men from BT to mend it again but the weather has been and is still dreadful up there. I am just following Richard's Blogs whenever he has time to write one.

Both Garten and Mallachie have fledged today and the webcam is back up. They are getting ready to unleash a new online community of LG bloggers, should be interesting

My confession for today?

I prefer this camera to the nest one they have at LG.

Obviously no good when the chicks are wee but when they are this size its brilliant.

We were lucky enough to visit Loch Garten 10 days ago - what a fabulous site and an incredible privillage to see these birds - the live link is just so addictive to watch too.

Just wondering, is there any osprey still at Loch Garten as I am going at the weekend!

The 2 youngest chicks are still around the nest a lot of the time and Odin and Ej are both still bringing in fish. EJ is expected to go very soon though but I would imagine the rest of the family will be around for another week or two.

If it's your first time you will love it, the staff are fantastic and really well informed.
