Long-legged Buzzard? Alentejo region Portugal (1 Viewer)

Bert

Birdwatchingalentejo.com
On the 6th of June 2017 we were with a a group of 3 at the steppes of the Alentejo region in Portugal when we saw a group of 5 Buzzards flying together. We thought this strange, never seen this before so shot some photos. Looking in my book (eye stripe and white patches on upper wing) it might be Long-legged Buzzards but I prefer to have your thoughts and advise about this.

Thanks,

Bert

the upperwing primary patches are quite obvoius though, but I agree on Common. That said IDing Buzzards in southern Iberian Peninsula is like IDing Steppe Buzzards, simply impossible to know the gene flow of a single individium
