Looking at the Manfrotto 057 3-Section tripod Carbon Fiber with rapid column $969.88 vs Manfrotto MT055CXPRO3 carbon fiber for $499.00.
Will be used for digiscoping with Kowa TSN 883, zoom eyepiece, MVH500AH head, sometimes phone sometimes old Canon pro body.

I know the 057 is more stable based upon reviews and specifications. But is it overkill and not necessary compared to the MT055CXPRO3?
If I don't need to spend the extra $470.00 I don't want to. But if it will make a difference in obtaining stunning images, I'd do it.

Thanks,
JOe
