I took this image in january, they were around a few months, then I didn't see them anymore, and now they are back.

Yes, Baltimore (Northern) Orioles are well known to breed in the US and migrate south in the winter; your take on it probably would be that they stay most of the year in Central America and migrate north to breed ;)

Thanks Niels, here is an image of the Oreole(Chiltota) that is very common here in El Salvador. I think is the Icterus pustulatus, is a litle bit bigger than the Baltimore Oriole.

Difficult to see in that angle if you are right, but Streak-backed Oriole is supposed to be found from Mexico to Costa Rica, so you most likely are :t:
