More birds seen on my Alaska Cruise. All of them seen in either Canada or Alaska (Inside Passage).

I think these are Marbled Murrelets.

At first I thought this was a Pacific Loon due to range and the pale gray nape. After looking at Sibley's it describes Arctic Loon being distinguished from all other loons by white patch on flanks which this bird seems to show.

Is this a Pacific Loon or could it be an Arctic Loon?

Pretty confident this is a Rufous Hummingbird...

Another lousy photo. These birds were pretty far from the ship and flying away.

White-winged Scoters??

I believe these are all Sooty Shearwaters. They appear to have a longish bill.

These shearwater photos were taken on a different day then the above ones.
Not sure if these are also Sooty's (if my ID above was correct).

These ones have a different pattern on their wings and the center photo seems to show more white under the wing.

Last ones.

More lousy photos.

I'm pretty sure these are Arctic Terns.

1. Not good with Murrelets.
2.Arctic looks good, but I have no experience with it so don't take my word.
3. Female Common, yes.
4. Common Loon maybe, but can I see some yellow on the bill there?
5. Looks like a Pacific vs Arctic here.
6. Yes to Rufous.
7. Looks good for White-winged.
8.Not good with shearwaters.
9. I'd say it has some leucism/wearing, as the white is not symmetrical on both sides.
10. Arctic is my best guess, but a bit hard to tell.

I just recalled that you get Red-breasted Merganser in your area. If it was on a coastal location it was probably more likely that.
