Dec 12-13, Monterey Peninsula, inc 17 mile Drive, Asilomar Beach, Crespi Pond and Point Lobos

A trip delayed from the beginning of November, we weren't sure what to expect, and the weather forecast was for showers and cold temperatures. In the end we managed two good hikes at Point Lobos in pretty good weather. 17 Mile Drive, normally comes up big for shorebirds, but the howling gale kept them all elsewhere.

516. Hermit Warbler (L)
517. Pacific Loon (L)
