Singita added a few new birds, but overall we had a great total for the Sabi Sand in April, I was delighted to catch the last of the migrants before they departed.

June 26th, Yolo County

Heading back from Sacramento airport I drove the rural roads south of Woodland looking for Swainson's Hawk, saw two birds that might have been, but they weren't close enough for a positive ID. However amongst a group of Red-winged Blackbirds I did see a female Bobolink - a very cool lifer for me.
