Hi everyone, I am a newbie and just joining today. I am interested in birding and live in Spokane, WA. Anyhow I am looking for a camera for my wife and was wondering what a good choice would be, yet at the same time not a heavy burden when moving about. Best Regards All!

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum (y)
We're glad you found us and please join in wherever you like. ;)

Here's a link to the camera section of the Forum. You'll get more response there than here :)

Hi bullpine and a warm welcome from me too.

You might want to look at some of the superzooms. When you post in the camera section it does help if you give them some idea of your budget.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.
