Non-birder seeks shelter (1 Viewer)

Hello and Guten Tag, dear birders!

A few weeks ago, on vacation by the sea, I discovered that my binoculars are crap. Since then, I have been cavorting among binocular enthusiasts to make better choices. Most of this special species are friends of birdwatching or astronomy, so here I am. I appreciate the factual (sometimes very emotional) discussions in the binoculars subgroup of this forum. I hope you can shelter someone who is not (yet) a birder here. Since many new members share their observations at this point, I have adapted this classic for you.

I'll move on to the lower deck of the binoculars sub-forum. Maybe I'll join you guys in the sun again sometime. Happy birding!
