Nutting's Flycatcher Tamarindo Costa Rica Feb (1 Viewer)

Can someon please confirm this to be a Nutting's Flycatcher? Taken in Tamarindo Costa Rica in Feb.

I don't think it is.

The bill is large (pro brown-crested), the colours bright and, especially, the rufous on the wing is clearly distinct from the adjacent white: it doesn't bleed into it. It mostly looks strongly crested in your photos which is also against Nutting's. Best guess is brown-crested but great crested if not (that generally appears brighter than here)

Nutting's is crested but it takes the form of a peaked rounded top of the head. It seems and is smaller. Mostly, it's very dull with near-absent wing bars and marks. The rufous on the wing edge blends into the whitish colouring further in (distinction from ash-throated)
