Way too windy here for the last few days to even contemplate putting the light on.

Despite the wind I put mine on last night and got a Red-line Quaker, two LBAM and what I think is a runt LBAM, a tiny thing about 1/3 the normal size. I can't find anything else it could be.

Light Brown Apple Moth. I used to refer to them as EP but people did not understand that either. A pity such an insignificant moth has such long names.

You must be overlooking them Ken, they are really common. See plenty in west London & not just when mothing.

Last night gave up three Juniper Carpets, a Blair's Shoulder-knot and my latest ever, by four days. Large Yellow Underwing.

A better night on Saturday…..15 moths of 8 species to include- 2 Mottled Umbers, Feathered Thorn, Sprawler, Pink-barred Sallow and Yellow-line Quaker.

Just the one moth last night, a Mottled Umber, but as it was a first for the garden, and my first adult of the species, I was pretty pleased.
