Found yesterday, but took off before better shots could be had!
I thought the combination of retained immature tertials and what looks like a slightly advanced cap behind the eye, made it look most unusual?

1cy Med Gull. Virtually the entire wings (and tail) will still be juvenile, but hidden by the overlapping flank feathers.

Must get up to speed with gulls 😮
No excuses!…yes I did wonder, but thought it looked same size as the BHGulls.
Quite amusing really considering my putative heinei thread.😂
