Perhaps to whet the anticipation of some, in relation to the European premium optics manufacturers . . .
Swarovski has a list of events that it will be attending in 2024, at: SWAROVSKI OPTIK
The events are far more numerous than for the other manufacturers. And while some are hunting/ shooting events,
others are specifically for birding.

Zeiss has an Events and Conferences listing at: Events | ZEISS
The list includes all events attended by Zeiss representatives, not just those for consumer optics.
Kahles has an Exhibition (events) page at: KAHLES: Exhibitions
All the events are either in continental Europe or Britain.
And Meopta has an Event Calendar at: Event calendar | Meopta :: Better view of the world
However, it hasn’t been updated for 2024.
The listed events for all 3 companies, in relation to consumer optics, are hunting/ shooting or security related.
Though they may attend other events during the year (?)

However, they are events hosted at particular Leica galleries around the world, rather than Leica's attendance at other venues.
And they're not to do with consumer optics.

There used to be events at WWT Castle Espie but I don't think they run them anymore.
Birdwatch Ireland has a shop near Kilcoole, Co Wicklow but has a relatively limited range of products. If there's something from Opticron that you'd like to try, we can send to them on sale or return.

I'm rarely in Ireland and I believe CoWicklow is a long distance away.
Pity there is not more interest, to trigger more coverage here.
I have a few Opticrons already, they all punch above their weight.
I can always order an Aurora if needed.
