Super blues on the maggies Gaby and the reds on the cardinal are intense! Looks like it could be the basis of a phoenix.

Great work on your last two paintings, Gaby! I agree with Tim about the choice of the support - not a typical one, but it works very well with this species.

so..projects are Gulls and a Bee-Eater, difficult are both for me

Bee-Eater without background,but the gulls with seascape and I never draw water
and the Bee-Eater is from a photo with friendly approval from Gareth

Had to chuckle as well at the photo. I hope I don't show up one day in such a photo. So easy to get distracted.........

I agree with user about the lines in the gulls. It seems to me that your lines in all of your work are getting stronger and surer, including in the new bee-eater.
