Pallid or Hen Harrier - Yunnan, China (1 Viewer)

taken at distance - the trailing edge of the wing is clean - but pics show a very clean white rump. From the angles it's difficult to gauge the wing tips

In pic 1, the underside of the left wing seems to show a rather solid area of black on the primary tips, not the restricted wedge-shape black typical of pallids. Also pic 2 shows a faint slightly darker band along the trailing edge on the right wing. With the distinct white rump, these features should add up to hen harrier. But the wings do seem quite slender in these views. I'd go for Hen on balance.
