Looking for opinions / advice - Im on the lookout for an outdoor mount type device - the sort of thing that can be clamped to something or has legs that can grip around things. I seem to remember seeing something that had flexbible bending legs that could wrap around a tree for example ?

A quick google search came up with the Rollei Monkey pod system. That looks to fit the bill.
