Quelea question (1 Viewer)

Hi everybody,

Hopefully it is allowed to aks my question here.

In Africa the Red-billed Quelea is considered a plague, but many people consider them to be very beautiful little Birds as well.

After studying this species a little more I discovered they actually appear in more than one (standard) colour.
This phenomenon is called polymorphism.

To study and discover how far polymorphism in Quelea goes and what might be the reason(s) it would be great if ODP-ers, who somehow ever 'shot' a 'different' coloured Quelea, place their photo(s) here or in the Avian Gallery.

Hope to hear from you.

Regards

Rupicola
