Hi all,
I am a Cape Town based South African birder. Former geologist (Engineering Geology, contaminated land investigations), currently freelance bird guide (pelagics, Southern African birding trips), amateur bird photographer. I've only birded in Southern Africa and a little bit in Western Europe (Netherlands, France, Belgium, Luxembourg), hope to meet birders from all over here.

Hi David and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
