Raccoons raiding feeders (1 Viewer)

Lately I’ve had a raccoon or two knocking off one of my nice anti squirrel tube feeders from the hanging hook that’s on a tree. Happening at night of course. Other than taking the feeders in at night wondering how to best deal with this? Action shot from security cam prior to cleverly removing feeder and dropping it on the ground.

Hi Huntski and welcome aboard!

You can try adding hot red pepper in with the seed. Apparently it doesn't bother the birds but it sure bothers the squirrels and raccoons.

Hi, Huntski. Welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. I think KC‘s advice is a good one.
