Roamwild feeder question (1 Viewer)

I’ve just bought one of these to go alongside a peanut feeder, a niger seed feeder and a sunflower hearts feeder. I’ve tried three different seed mixes from three different firms - all to no avail. The goldfinches, greenfinches, tits and sparrows all congregate around the sunflower hearts and the new, expensive Roamwild is ignored. Any helpful suggestions most welcome. Thanks you.

The different bird species will continue using the tried and tested feeders that they are familiar with. What I would try is to remove the existing sunflower feeder and replace it with the Roamwild ( filled with sunflower hearts ). Once they become used to the new feeder then try replacing the old feeder with the mixed seed.
However, nearly all the species I have visiting my garden, make a beeline for the sunflower hearts....... I stopped offering standard mixed feed many moons ago due to wastage and spoillage.
I have 2 Roamwilds alongside 2 FinchesFriends as my main supplies.
