Robin lays eggs in multiple nests (1 Viewer)

Last year we had a robin build a second next connected to an old one on our back porch rafter. We called it a "double condo".
This year a robin has built a third nest connected to the other two, but she had laid an egg in two of the nests! So far, she is taking turns sitting on each nest. My husband wants to put the one egg on the end in the middle nest. ???

Welcome to Birdforum. I hope you enjoy your visits.

It would be illegal to move any eggs (or nests) so I strongly recommend you leave everything as it is.
