What are Gloucs birders thoughts about the weather conditions for an "estuary watch" at Severn Beach tomorrow - will birds still be blown in and/or lingering from today?
Looks like they had a good day. I need Storm Petrel and conciderred going but had other commitments, really wish I had gone now.
From the blog detailed above 'Leach's and Storm Petrels are almost annual in varying numbers. The best place to observe these masters of the waves is in "burger bar bay", the stretch of water immediately south of the Second Severn Crossing.'
Hi Gareth thanks for replying i looked at the blog after posting (doh !) hoping to spot any petrels ,never been before so most probably be in the wrong place
cheers jd
